If feel like New Balance making the resurgence it has (though it's kind of always been the Subaru of sneakers) pocketed some of Nikes lunch money because Nike is greedy and catering to trust fund babies and sneaker sellers as opposed to the everyday consumer.
is that what it is. they're trying to reposition the brand as luxury sportswear only rich kids can wear? lol they will slowly start losing enough market share to a point where the brand will just seem pretentious and gauche. it's a damn shame.

at least new balance makes really comfortable shoes.

Everybody signaling about Nike's downfall or stagnation like it's a surprise. We've seen this countless times in the market. The little fish becomes the "Shark" and eats everyone until there's nothing left but to eat themselves. Fukk'em, since they wanna still roll with an outdated business model. I hope they continue to slip. The retro market is alive and well but they continue to drop the ball with how they release them.

nah i shop at the nike outlet. but i only wear nike for what it's intended for... working out, loungewear and sometimes sleepwear lol. i'm not wearing it for my everyday fashion so i don't mind buying the out of season or whatever.

Do you cats not use the app? :dahell:

A Nike Tech top is $135. A bottom is $115.

Now you could obviously argue that's still too expensive but why would you go to....I dunno, Nordstrom or whatever and expect things not to be more expensive than stuff directly from Nike?

If you want Nike clothes, shop the app and look for sales. I have damn near every color hoodie/sweats and never spent more than $40-$50 per item. The tech stuff was around $100 just a week ago, due to Christmas sales.
