@houston911 don't give these bird chest nikkas any leeway . They need to be benching their weight
I don't post there but that's how my life has been lately
I used to think like that too, if you enjoy lifting like that, continue. I had a lot of influences at a young age, made some bad decisions and started. Honestly, if I could go back, I wouldn't have started.
Bench was 275x5+. Squat was 325x10+. Dead was only 250, probably even lower, I will never deadlift heavy. Haven't recorded stats after using but all of my previous feels light. When bulking I just keep throwing on weight until I can't rep it at least over 8 times. It is hard to continue lifting heavy while cutting and maintaining weight for wrestling though.
I agree with @houston911 but just because you fit and have strength don't necessarily mean you can't get washed in a fight. I done seen skinny n!ggas knock big n!ggas clean the fvck out. Hood sh!t. Get ya hands right. I'm 230 lbs of muscle and in the gym damn near every day but I also know how to throw mines. Ya'll n!ggas don't be up in here acting like all you need is muscles. You better know how to scrap.
never been a consistent weight lifter especially on the bench, ive completely fazed it at this point...I got long arms with shoulder issues its not good for me.... but i got a naturally solid athletic frame, mostly people know off the bat im a ball player....im tryna stay active in bball and soccer well into my 40's maybe 50's, I'm strictly cardio, free weight, legxercises and work my way into going hard with the plyo's.....
I can't believe these guys got so emotional over this thread

"Back in my day you were expected to be stronger than your girlfriend"
Dudes are livid because society expects them to be stronger than the woman they're dating.
Your estrogen levels have to be through the roof to come in here talking about "bu bu bu bu why you worried about the next man?"
Tell on yourselves, brehs.
@ the rich piana tattooDon't be this guy tho
You should be benching more then your weight bunch of bytches I'm 5'8 165
225lb 10x
Pullups with the 45lb plate
The thing with muscle and size it's that's it all cosmetic though. I been hitting the gym had since Jan. Put on close to 15 pounds. Have sine boys who I have worked out with before but they got lazy over the last year or so, but they out weigh me by 50 plus pounds. They can't push the same weight I can but still got the size advantage...Build your core. Deadlift. Fireman walk wit the heaviest weight you can stand to carry. Muscle does not equate to strength. It helps. Mentality, proper form, persistence will get you there. I'm 5'7. Jan was 130, said F it and now fluctuate between 140 and 145. Leg day is where you'll gain weight, and chest day will have you feeling like a pimp after. Arm day too, but don't slack on core day cause that's where strength comes from...But the one thing out of this I enjoy the most is the mental clarity. I see my boys all flabby and drugged up looking like shyt while I'm slowly starting to look younger. They don't hear me though...
We got dudes out here that workout with their girls and when she's done, they don't add anymore weight to the bar
