OP what you mean most of the terms and dances that are prominent on social media currently are extracted from shyt we did prior to the inception of Instagram , Snapchat etc ... those platforms made cacs adapt and catch up more quickly than they usually would ...

But CaCs are now considered cool to the eyes of many :mjpls: brehs and brehettes. The predominant figures of black manhood now outside of sports is the drugged up rapper that can't even say words.

black culture used to be something forbidden and followed its own path. It was created from a well versed culture that they had no or very limited access to. It was also a culture of excellence. Noticed how well dressed and well spoken we used to be in our own way. We used to be masters of craft with musical instruments. All the best guitar players were black. It was rare a white woman or man could even crack into our music without being swallowed by the excellence. The clothing was so different and creative that they couldn't just go down to the GAP and buy it. With increased integration its just merging into American culture. Hard to set some trend when we are doing the same things they are doing, growing up in the same places as them and openly listening to the same music as them. Really doesn't help when the excellence of it is really hidden and not well backed by the little industry power that we do have.

Idk, more and more black celebs are obsessed with dressing in the latest european fashion. So are the masses. I mean weve always worn european brands but we are now following their fashion.
