the internet
I see it everywhere online...
"the culture" is super casual with its use now

Now whats happening is white folks are using it in a "non racist" casual manner

as someone old enough to remember when black folks only really used it amongst themselves this shyt is odd as hell to me

Just because you see it online does not mean that every black person in real life is cool with white people using the n word, nor it doesn’t mean that every black person calls them that.

I remember seeing a video of this dumbass black dude (with a pink septum ring in his nose like a bytch too :scust:) months ago on YouTube saying that he doesn’t mind white people calling him the n word and other dumb shyt. Which is why I be telling these cacs “don’t go by what one black person said and think that it applies to all of us because you’ll get your beat for this” :scust:

It’s their word. They were the first ones to call us that and they never stopped using it. We should have come up with our own word instead of helping to keep that one alive. Now the damage is done and it can’t be reversed.

I'm white and I got the N-word pass from my bros in real life.

Just chill out nikka.

The fact that black people even reclaimed the word is still a big mistake imo.

Black folk reclaimed "Black," too, which meant, "slave."

and, enslaved people were using the word "nikka" on the plantations.

Probably early 90s at the latest. The movie Kids from 1995 depicted it in New York like it was a normal thing there.

The n word remained as a slur throughout the 20th century by white folk and is still used as one

Meanwhile black just become a race descriptor at some point.

Using the n word doesn't "take the power out of it" if we still rightfully get mad at white people using it

White people also use "Black" as a slur.

"Those blacks"
"That black"
"Blackie"
and the list goes on...

Then there are the associations with Black being primarily negative.

Oh I call anyone I don’t like that word. It’s never positive for me, it’s always derogatory that’s why I just use it to insult anyone I don’t care for.

I mean, it has to be particular but to me it doesn’t the color, if I feel you giving me that energy, imma call it like I see it

They also use “Boy” in a negative sense, so what’s your point?
