Listened to the hoop collective podcast the other day where they were cryptically alluding to "off the court red flags" or something to that effect that led to him going undrafted and the Pistons parting ways so soon... What's supposed to be the knock on the kid? He didn't hit my radar till this off-season when those same insiders were hailing him as an underrated gem and the best value acquisition of the summer, well I guess fall in these crazy covid times
i just assumed he had an attitude or motivation issue but he clearly has a work ethic so I'm not sure.

Nothing really out of the ordinary, just a mixture of being in the wrong place at the wrong time (in the basketball sense), and bad habits. He also suffered from the perception of not having a position either, which was largely due to his weight where he was like 215-220lbs at 6'11", coming out of college, and didn't play with any real physicality. I don't think teams really knew what to do with him.
