They've drained the well dry, and will leave future generations a big "F*ck You..." on the way out.
You know why schools have such a shortage of teachers today? Cuz washed up baby-boomers sat on those jobs for 30-40 years, stone-walling younger ppl from filling those positions. Yet towards the end, they had no desire to be there, teach, mentor, etc. Just stack their pensions.
I notice they've done this, in most industries. Keep everything cushy, then stick it to younger folks, move goalposts, or change rules/guidelines, once the younger ppl fill roles, or gain a footing. They blame the youth, yet raised the youth. Baby-boomers are the ultimate gas-lighters.
They tear Gen-X, millennials, and Z'ers down for not working hard, being lazy, and complaining about not getting ahead. In their day...they worked hard to acquire homes, cars, a great savings, etc...yet they always leave out, how cheap everything was THEN, compared to TODAY.
Their greed has decimated the system, and it seems like they don't give a fukk, about leaving things in order on their way out, as their parents (our grandparents) did for them (and Id argue the greatest generation). They hit u wit the

I rarely find ppl having anything bad to say, about the way their grandparents carried it.
