different movies and are you going to tell me you didn't find the basterds (sans roth) more likeable than django? And they weren't even jews. That's unacceptable, hell even Calvin candie was more likeable than django that's how thin he was written. You couldn't get behind the character or his love affair

i liked them both equally because they were killing people i didn't like

most people i talked to about Inglourious Basterds thought that Landa was the more charismatic and likable character, despite being a Nazi; is that proof of how thinly-written the Basterds were?

Well its Obvious Quentin was loving himself with all the dialogue King Schultz got. Django is the title character but yes very thinly written. QT is like Dame Dash..love to hear their own voice, his obsession is with the other characters not so much with Django. He's there but QT focus is somewhere else. He gives him the big shootout at the end to give him some justice. QT even admitted he had to change the script at the end because he realized Django didn't get a proper send off.

you seem, hurt :sas1:

I am, hurt.

It must be terrible being called a racist because you played on camera.
I think it's more the fact that actors are professional artists and this thread might be the greatest reasons why they are actors. They have made you feel.

But still, I hurt

They can be alot of things and being racist is one of them but thats one of the many flaws the human race still has to deal with but we are taking steps, baby steps, and evolving past that.

As for Clint.

nope because thats a matter of opinion, one individuals "love to hate" Is anothers "multi layered and complex" landa was the most fleshed out character who just so happened to have most of the limelight of course it's easy to like him he was written charismatically an atpically nazi. But there is still a crowd that love the basterds too. With django you won't fin,d one person that favours django over waltz character but fake militants

Landa was a detective through in through, he just fell into the nazi gig because he was from germany and it seemed like the smart thing to do to get by unharrassed
