How is this dude not thriving with all the attention Luka is getting? I just don’t get it this cat had way more versatility to his game in NY...right now he’s just an albatross. If Luka had a competent 2nd star this series would have already been over

So he’s done? Because that still doesn’t explain why he hasn’t expanded his game. If anything those injuries should have forced him to develop his game and not rely on explosiveness. Mavs almost blew the game because Carlisle had to rest Luka at the beginning of the 4th. That shoulda been Porzingis time...only Carlisle had him buried on the bench because he wasn’t doing anything.

Even when we've run plays the last two seasons for him, he just settles for turnaround, off-balance jumpers against 6'5 guards who disrupt his poor center of gravity

He doesn't get busy. Against anybody. If you send the double from the weakside when he catches, he gets stripped easily as well.

Dallas doesn't run plays for KP cause he's not reliable. The second you stop running plays for him, he completely disappears.
