So i realized i do like to read recaps/reviews, and now I'm a CSUH, which is more in line with what I figured.

You like to laugh, but you’re not looking for throwaway TV. You live for a will-they-won’t-they arc — or perhaps a drawn-out rivalry? These are the types of ongoing plotlines you look for in your weekly sitcom — one that you might have to dig a little deeper to find. Your comedy won’t be on network TV, but try recs from streaming or premium networks. The shows (sadly!) don’t last very long, although people often adore them. Extreme melodrama is your forte — if they call it camp, it’s in your wheelhouse.

Bolded are shows I've watched regularly.

First time I got CEMH (Frasier, Simpsons, Sports Night, Curb)

Second time I got DEMH (Good Wife, House, ER, Thirty something)

I'm pretty damn sure I answered the same way both times, too...:aicmon:

BUT...while I may be on the fence regarding comedy vs. drama, at least the rest is consistent. Episodic, mainstream, highbrow. :manny:

You like a good old-fashioned drama, but you don’t have the time or brain space to stay caught up on every single show. You want to be able to turn on the TV and get immediately sucked in. You go for the highbrow stuff — often intellectual and layered. And that’s okay! (That’s why we have the comments sections of TV recaps.) But you also seek out shows not often appreciated by wide audiences, so in this case, for finding new things to binge, streaming services are your BFF. Extreme melodrama is your forte — if they call it camp, it’s in your wheelhouse.

Recommendations: The X-Files, The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror.

Very true, alot of the movies and shows I watch lol the coli would neg me to oblivion over

Got the same :francis:

Got CSMH. said I'd like shows like the office, parks and rec, Mindy project and news girl. Seen the first two but not the last two.

:sas2: I notice that pretty much everybody in this thread got Highbrow. I wonder why?

:lupe: I might need to redo this test too. I do like recaps/reviews of my shows, I just prefer listening to a podcast (or a YouTube channel) discussing it instead of actually reading written reviews.

Exact opposite of me on that one. I'd rather read than listen to anyone talk about it or watch a video. And most of us have highbrow tastes breh lol but we also love mainstream shyt. The simpsons is still my favorite show of all time and i feel its the greatest show of all time and it doesn't get more mainstream than that
