Facelifted 2020 Audi RS4 Avant Launches With Its Big Brother’s Looks

The veil has been lifted on the facelifted 2020 Audi RS4 Avant and as we expected, it looks very much like a smaller version of the latest-generation RS6 Avant.
Immediately differentiating the updated RS4 Avant from the outgoing model are the updated LED headlights and optional matrix LED lights with darkened bezels. In addition, Audi has updated the single-frame grille to make it wider and narrower and completed it with a gloss black honeycomb mesh design.

Modifications are harder to pick from the sides although Audi does say that the front and rear wheel arches are 30 mm wider than regular A4 Avant models. Alterations made to the rear are largely limited to updated taillights and a new bumper and black diffuser design.
As for the interior, it comes complete with Audi’s 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen display as well as the company’s beautiful Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster. There is also a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel clad in Alcantara.
The powertrain for the facelifted 2020 Audi RS4 Avant is the company’s familiar twin-turbocharged 2.9liter V6 engine where the turbos are located within the ‘V’ to make for a total of 444 hp and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque, allowing the car to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in a blistering 4.1 seconds.
Audi has not said if the facelifted RS4 Avant will make it to the United States like the RS6 Avant. What we do know is that sales across Europe will start later this month and the first dealerships will start taking deliveries in December. European prices start at 81,400 euros ($88,982).
