After We Are the World and Man in the Mirror (one of my favorites), MJ would make those “save the planet” songs that I didn’t care much for.
Heal the World was charitable and that’s great, but the song is just too sappy for me and probably my least favorite of his singles.
I think the 2000 Watts in the OP might be my least favorite of his songs. If it’s just songs that he appears on, then it’s that awful Eddie Murphy song.
The Girl is Mine is to Thriller as One Time 4 Ya Mind is to Illmatic.

my least favorite, which I still love, is shake your body down to the ground. it never modulates, no bridge, transitions, not even a break or simple drumroll. super super repetitive. the horn parts work but underneath nothing changes up. too late not to sound all dorky about it but yea. still funky as hell tho
