Different points,
97-98 is pure fukkery. You legit had no idea what would happen. Gang Wars was .. well the less said the better. But peak scumbag Michaels, heel Bret, Austin's rise, Rock finding his own in the Nation, DX, Kane, Hell In A Cell, Mankind promos with JR >>>>>>>> A solid cohesive show. 98 wouldn't exist if it wasn't for 97 laying it all out. That year can't be replicated because it was 100% fukkery, especially backstage.
2000. Peak of the attitude era, tbh. Radicalz, Jericho... all better than the attitude era midcarders. It sucks that guys like D'lo got sent down the card, but I mean... you had to make way for these guys because they were that good. 99 was too wacky and you could tell Russo peaked (in 98 with Survivor Series) and was throwing shyt together. HHH is FINALLY a heel people dislike instead of the boring dude who somehow was beating the people we like. Rock's apex. Austin coming back in the end. Angle winning damn-near every belt in less than a year, with like two years MAX of training. EC, Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz. Too Cool. Just talent overload and the best victory lap leading into Mania X7.
2013. Glad people brought this up. It's really the last time I felt that WWE was going to do something new. Yeah, Cena was on-top, but you knew it was coming to an end. Too much hungry new talent. Bryan peaking, Shield was damn-near
whenever they came out, Ziggler winning is a top-5 largest pop, Punk desperately trying to get booed by a crowd who refused to do so was hilarious. Dude was making chocolate milk out of Bearer's ashes and crowd was still cheering "CM PUNK" lmfaooo. Henry's promo. Orton was actually into it this year. Authority started, and to be fair, it was pretty good before it stayed for another fukking year. Diva's title scene had AJ and she's still the best promo out of all those girls. She's the only one who ever felt confident on the mic. It felt like anything or anyone could actually challenge for the title.
