New Japan, All Japan, PWG, Dragon Gate and ROH. We need some Big Japan knowledge in here because I haven't watched in years. All I know is Abdullah Kobayashi is a champ there still but is my nikka Jaki still there?
Jaki still there, he's awful though. The only times he's worth a damn this days if when he's tagging with Kasai and wrestling guys like Sekimoto, Yoshihito Sasaki or Yuji Okabayashi.
From 2008 onwards the "Strong Big Japan" division (guys who don't do deathmatches) has taken a bigger role in the company and consistently put on great matches. They give you fun and stiff multi-man tags that don't go longer than 10-13 minutes, and like once a month they will put on a great 20 minute tag match.
Since last year, Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi have been on a interpromotional feud with All Japan (they are the 2 time and current All Asia Tag Team champions) and have put on countless of fun to awesome matches.
PS: I think I've already talk to you about this

It has changed quite a bit.
It varies from show to show. There are times were there's like 4 or 5 deathmatches in a show, but that's the exception. The non-hardcore division (Strong Big Japan) is a huge part of the company right now. Every show you can count on at least a fun 10-12 minutes multi man match between promising rookies and established veterans and every big event has 2 or 3 very good non-deathmatch action.
Guys like Daisuke Sekimoto (the head of the training school), Yoshihito Sasaki, Yuji Okabayashi, Kazuki Hashimoto and Shinobu are the highlight of every show.
Since last year they are in an interpromotional feud with All Japan that has consistently delivered good to great matches.
