I have been looking for an alternative, I have a few pairs of bananna republic, that I wear mostly, I've tried Varvatos, Burberry, they never fit very well, I hate trying on jeans, and right away they are crazy low, and envelop your shoes, that shyt is so disappointing. I'm going to Niemans and Nordstrom, and try to find soem alternatives, I'd rather have the nicer, higher quality ones, im fine with spending 150-2, but rarely see any I like. 2 Chainz aside, TR's are done, Rock/Republic are in Kohls now, so cancel that. Joes Jeans are what i will be looking at next.

Levi's 514 fit me perfectly at my body type. Small waist, larger quads from squats so I can hover between weights when bulking/cutting without the fit getting out of control...

...and they have a zipper. The friction from the buttons on 501's irritate me.

I'm from Detroit too but True's just come off as tacky to me. The only cool pair I ever saw was subtle, without all the ostentatious ratty stitching. If I were going to change brands and put more bread into my denim, I'd want to check out Naked & Famous but I don't know how they fit.
