Its funny, I am old and so are most of my friends and the majority of them are married with good jobs and I now know more people on the coli with 800 credit scores than I do in real life.
Interesting considering in theory your friends with "good" jobs suggest that they are probably financially literate but this goes to show you that intelligent financial decisions don't automatically come to a person who drones a system.

I just told y'all I ran my scores through Equifax directly and this is accurate though :mjlol:

I literally have my entire credit report in a PDF on my PC dated 2.16.19 (since each bureau gives you one free report a year)

Credit Karma is not as far off as you guys a.

Credit Karma is not as far off as you guys are making it out to be. As a realtor I run credit often and people will say "can I just show you my credit karma" which we never accept as it could be doctored but more often than not their TransUnion is within 20 points of the score they've shown me. We also do a hard pull and get their ENTIRE report. I've ran more credit than I can count. In fact I just finished running someone's credit 20 minutes ago.
Those free annual reports have no score from what I can recall but either way well done. Now pad your savings and max 401k if possible.

High enough to get me a home loan, but low enough that it would have me paying 600 a month for a 2009 Toyota Yaris

I was 585 in the fall. Been taking my finances more seriously to clean all my shyt up. Been stacking/saving money and paying the balance or close to the balance on everything every month. Hopefully I can be at 650 by August and 700 by Spring 2020.

mid 700s last time I looked.

750ish
6'3'' 225lbs. 12% BF with a 785 score that was pulled last month to secure a mortgage.:yeshrug:

My 17 year old cousin that works at McD's has a stellar credit score....it proves my point in that the shyt is nothing to brag about and only a fraction of the big picture on how well someone is doing. :what:

Jesus right though.

Although I admit I'm kinda proud of getting my score to what it is from the 550 it was a few years ago

my life still ain't shyt. I'm more surviving it than living it.

It is what it is :yeshrug:

The unknown
those were some sad days breah.

I remember when I had to finance a 97 Toyota tercel, from a buy here pay here...and it got repoed. :mjcry:

:mjcry: I feel your pain

In 2013 my car died on me and I went to a used dealership, but my credit was too low. Could only purchase a new car. I wont even tell you what the APR was :wow:

Took a good 3-4 years to fully recover from my negligence in college
