WCW/NWO Revenge. I know Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy overshadowed it when it came to game modes and features but Revenge really captured the mood of WCW in 1997-1998. I still remember as a kid after school we would play the fukk out of it before Nitro came on and after Raw and Nitro went off the air we would try to reenact what happened on Nitro that night.

Folks today haven't really experienced what pro wrestling was when you had Aki/THQ making wrestling games and the fukkery of the WWF and WCW in the late 90s.

Last of the newer WWE games I really enjoyed was WWE 13 because of the attitude era mode.

Sounds like it would've been dope but I bet the big problem with it would've been the lagging.

I mentioned SD HCTP as the GOAT already, but SvR 2006 deserves some shine too. That's the very last wrestling game I played, and it was nearly endless as well. GM Mode was fantastic, and the mean reason I'd have it close to HCTP. My knock on it, is though the roster is deep, the non-legends roster was pretty outdated by the time the game came out (which is normally the problem when wrestling games come out, at east that point). Still a great game, but people like Haas, Chavo, Bashams, Jindrak, Rob Conway, Scotty 2 Hotty, Stevie Richards, Orlando Jordan, Snitsky, and Heidenreich were people you didn't even want to choose at that point.
