sega left the hardware business because the saturn and dreamcast were flops.

i'm talking about business here...let another year or two go by where the xbox one is just getting completely obliterated in sales, they'll get out of the game b/c it won't make sense to continue

Dreamcast was doing fine but sony made backdoor deals to kill sega (I guess you wasn't aware of all that either) One example is they got EA Sports to not fukk with Sega. Now, EA didn't like the fact Sega Had their own sports games (2K) and felt it would be bad for business. EA then started bullshytting on anything EA
They got one other big company to do the same, but according to industry people at the time.. EA was the final nail. But the console itself would have did fine. Just not good enough to make the profits they were targeting.

As for Microsoft, I'll say this one time for you. The xbox one is selling faster than the 360. They are making tons of cash. Sony has sold more, but what makes you think there isn't enough money to go around? You thought sony had the lead so everyone else is starving out here? Microsoft just made 1billion dollars this first quarter in the xbox division. Are you done being a dumbass or do you want me to CLUB you with more facts? XBL business is BOOMING and the competition has just over half the amount of paid subscriptions aka less than half the revenue Microsoft makes off of XBL. While you saying they will be done with consoles in a few years, thats because we won't be using consoles then. We'll have something like a Roku that can handle all that. Cloud/etc. Just stay in your lane bruh
