I met someone from Canada last year during their first trip to NY and they started using only NY slang to communicate with me after that. I was confused cause they were using slang I didn’t even use when I met them. It was like they had a NY slang dictionary. I don’t know what’s going on in Canada but that had me like

The suburb analogy for the whole ass country of Canada is more true the more I think about it. As soon as you cross the border from Canada in hella places, you in the trenches like none or other like the whole city of Detroit, Buffalo etc.
