Still haven't got this fixed. I found a workaround though and that's using a windows 8 youtube app. It works fine there.

I use firefox on about 5 different PC's and have no problems. Youtube was giving ppl problems for about a week. Then it went away for me, didn't realize it was still an issue. I read somewhere cricket was having problems with youtube

Not at all, and I heard it was improved to the point that it might be the best browser out now. Try the newest version of IE and tell us what you think. My impression so far is that its fast and smooth. But I have too many security features in firefox that I can't leave that unless I know IE has similar. Haven't checked cuz i'm stuck in my ways

I'm not a web developer but i know the flash plugin for Chrome and Firefox are not the same. Chrome uses the pepper plugin API, while Firefox uses the netscape plugin API.

The pepper api has been performing like shyt lately (so i've heard), while Firefox's version has been fine. If you're having trouble with BOTH versions on ONE machine (your desktop or whatever), try using YouTube on some OTHER machine (like a laptop), checking performance in each browser.

The point is to see if it is something to do with your machine. If flash acts better on the other machine (the laptop or whatever), then you know what's what.

As a sidenote we should all stop using Chrome. That shyt is a fukking botnet.

i think something is wrong with my Chrome. i typed 599 US dollars into the address bar and hit enter and it starts playing this crazy song on its own.
i tested it on Internet explorer and it didn't do it. only does it on Chrome.

HAPPENS ON OCCASSION WITH CHROME. MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH CHROME IS GIFS NOT ANIMATING SOMETIMES. BOTH PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED BY RELOADING THE PAGE FOR ME.

Flash Player 11 SUCKS dikk and was freezing everything up..I had to go back to the previous version just so I could watch Youtube and Flash sites.

I usually check flash videos on my phone anyway these days and just use Flash Downloaders for anything significant.
