Again how can it be said that Rey is holding on too long when he still puts on good to great matches with the right talent?

His matches with Punk, Edge, Jericho, Ziggler, Kidd, and others have been really good. The ONLY times Rey looks like a bum is during his matches with Big Show, Kane, Mark Henry, or any of the other giants/Monsters on the roster.

Because his matches aren't that great. Like I said, he doesn't do the shyt that made him legendary. He's basically a midget heavyweight at this stage. His move set used to be piff. Now the closest he gets to doing anything aerial is a splash. Part of that is Vince wanting to ground shyt, but a lot of it is those *rey voice*five surgeries he has in his left knee*rey voice*

I still fukks with Rey. When he's not injured, he's always holdin' it down in the ring IMO. I'd rather watch a Mysterio match over Sin Cara any day

Rey is one of WWE's biggest draws and he still puts on GREAT performances when paired with the right talent.

I think most of it has to do with Rey not dropping the IC title to Dolph. The Rey hate is actually more absurd than the John Cena hate.

Wasn't he the one that pretty much stole the show with Edge in the Elimination chamber? Wasn't he the one putting on great matches with Jericho on Smackdown? Didn't he and Punk have a good series of matches? Hell even his match against Cena was pretty good. Dude was having good matches with Cody Rhodes too. Hell even his matches with Del Rio were good (they just gave us the match WAY too many times in a short period of time).

Nah they'd probably start hating on that shyt too. Look at Jericho, people were dying for him to come back on two different occasions and both times when he initially came back people were hating.

Real talk, Rey Rey get lifetime pass for doing his job, and putting over everyone on the regular, even if some think he holdin nikkas back.

Having this man compete against people twice his size and win is an insult to my intelligence. I also hate his completely inane setup to his 619, and his seemingly ineffective tadpole plash. This man should have never fought against anyone other than cruiserweights and jobbers except in one-off novelty matches.

Gimmick is stale, he's been the same guy since he got there and there's absolutely nothing interesting about him but he's still one of the best workers. Considering the dearth of talent he deserves to be near the top of the card, he wouldn't get half the hate he does if he freshened up his act but I don't see it happening, kids love those masks.
