I remember everybody use to always throw darts at this cat and I never understood why. He's never been a prick or a jerk backstage. He's had classic matches in ECW, WWE, WCW, Help rekicked the Crusierweight division for WCW and brought back that lost artform in the WWE during that time period.

Even though injuries have slowed him down and he isn't the same as before. He's still one of the few draws that they have left. So where did the hate really come from for this guy?

It's not hate. It's that he's hanging around too long. He doesn't do the same shyt that made him so popular. We're all older now so except for R=G, nobody here marks out for his wack ass theme song and his kiddie masks. He gets hurt all the time and when he doesn't get hurt he's on the juice, and if he wasn't ridin with Team Taker he woulda gotten deavored by now.

We don't wanna see wrestlers we liked hang around and get flabby and sick. Watching Rey is like listening to Prodigy or Cam'ron. Walk away with your dignity.

Today, his shtick is stale and his matches are unremarkable. I used to be a fan. It doesn't matter that he's past his prime, many of my favorites have been wrestling longer than him. If you keep people's interest you can be 50 for all anyone cares. Mysterio has gotten comfortable and been phoning it in the past few.

If his matches are horrible or ordinary, what do you call the main event scene of the WWE outside of Daniel Bryan? These guys are botching fist drops, power slams, and clotheslines every week. One guy fukks up an elbow drop and refuses to do it the right way.

Hes a lil junkie piece of shyt.

Little fakkit has been running on a three-star formula for years now. The fact that he refused put over Dolph Dawg is a major blemish on his record. I hope he gets eaten by a shark.

Some people are just hating ass muthafukkas....

Rey is one of WWE's biggest draws and he still puts on GREAT performances when paired with the right talent.

I think most of it has to do with Rey not dropping the IC title to Dolph. The Rey hate is actually more absurd than the John Cena hate.

ehh, my only gripe with Rey is that he never puts anyone over. He's waay too protected (except when he's involved in a world title match).

Again how can it be said that Rey is holding on too long when he still puts on good to great matches with the right talent?

His matches with Punk, Edge, Jericho, Ziggler, Kidd, and others have been really good. The ONLY times Rey looks like a bum is during his matches with Big Show, Kane, Mark Henry, or any of the other giants/Monsters on the roster.

Above of all that, Rey Mysterio in 1996 is maybe the impressive sight in American pro wrestling history.

Big Show should destroy everyone all the time but that doesn't make money and never will.
