What’s with Indy wrestlers always hugging n shaking hands after matches?

I don't have a problem, at all, with hands shakes after matches since it's a "sport" and most matches aren't feuds.


My problem is shyt like Undisputed Era....O'Reilly and Cole were trying to KILL each other just 2 years ago...but now in the WWE, they're buddies now? REALLY???

And don't give me that "WWE fans don't know anything about Ring of Honor." Because if they didn't...they wouldn't put Cole, O'Reilly, Fish and Strong together in the first place.

Like others have said boxers do that shyt all the time. Just minutes ago they were trying to knock each other out and possibly gave each other a concussion and future CTE but at the end of the bout they hug and congratulate each other on the match. All the shyt talking between McGregor and Mayweather (whether it was real or not) at the end they showed love to one another at the end. Unless it's a blood feud or whatever I don't see the problem. Plus it doesn't happen as much as you think.

Cole and O'Reilly used to team way back when they first came to RoH too.

Yup....Future Shock. 1 of Cole's most memorable matches in ROH is when Cole took some teeth out of his mouth.

These dudes had one of the most heated feuds in ROH history...Kyle strangling Cole with a steel chain while trying to snap his arm off. But now they're buddiebuddies again.

That sh!t irks me in wrestling way more than handshakes.

It was a thing in ring of honor that kinda got passed down



Used to be a rule that wrestlers had to shake hands before the match... I think Christopher Daniels was the one guy that refused to do it for like over 10 years

When mike tyson would pre match promo and call opponents fags and hell murder them and their family
Then shake hands after fights and smile

I have no problem with it because it incorporated realism to make it look like a sport. Just not every match
