It's been that way for a minute. They just completed the takeover. Shows have always been garnered towards women. Going back to forever. Think of how many shows where the woman in the intellectual in the relationship. The man was still masculine but he was the butt of the jokes and less intelligent. Women are too sensitive for them to be seen as intellectually inferior to men on a weekly basis. Now writers have pandered to women even more cause they watch more tv and sitcoms and totally effeminated males by making them less masculine also. It's just the natural progression tv has taken.
