keep in mind, the league doesn't announce which PED the player tested positive for... so it could easily be the player's agent just saying "oh, it was just Adderall" as a cop out

smh at the thought of Laron Landry getting suspended for PEDs and trying to claim that Adderall shyt

why dont the players who got busted just get a legal prescription? I may be wrong but I doubt the league would be able to suspend someone who can prove they 'need' to be on it.

It does not matter if they have a script or not it is a banned substance they can't take it

Ima just take a shot in the dark and guess its because they don't want to be on record of having an ongoing prescription for a drug that is a banned substance.

Adderrall doesn't increase stamina it just blinds our perception of stamina...

It increases focus by stimulating brain cells...the stimulating of brain cells kill boredom, which allows you to not only focus longer but harder as well since learning/studying/competing also stimulates the brain, it's magnified

Come down is awful though, you're left feeling dirty, bored , and you can't sleep...I've been up 48 hours once, and it wasn't my choice

I will say though, the combo of coming down from Adderrall and smoking weed is incredible

I could see why an athlete would use it. But its dangerous as fukk to play football on Adderrall...But I guess at corner it wouldn't be too bad... Could be using it just to study playbooks tho, I'm sure any athlete can learn a playbook from top to bottom with Adderrall ...

from this article:

Giants running back Andre Brown was using Adderall with a prescription but without advance approval from the league. *He tested positive, he appealed, and his suspension was lifted. *Ditto for Texans punter Brett Hartmann, whose four-game suspension was cut to three — and who now has approval to take Adderall.

and then from Adderall's Wikipedia page:

The New York Giants running back Andre Brown (American football) faced a four-game suspension for violating NFL's performance-enhancing substance ban. Brown said: “It was something that I've been on since I've been in the league, which was Adderall. I just forgot to fill out some paperwork and that was it.” [50] Brown eventually won an appeal, and had his suspension lifted.[51]

Seems like you can take it if you have a prescription, a valid reason to take it, and correctly notify the league, so I don't know it's still not clear if you can or can't take it in the NFL.
