So the president can't receive updates on the progress of his signature legislation? Why wasnt obama aware of obamacare.gov crashing weeks before it launched?

We have completed million dollar implementations ERP systems that would become the lifeblood of major organizations and never once met or seen the CEOs on any status calls or meetings.

I don't know why you'd think I think Obama can do no wrong. I believe I was very vocal about him staying out of Syria and the Middle East in general.

I don't however, criticize Obama for things that are out of his control or things that he could not possibly take 100% blame for since he is only one man and is the President, not the King of America. I also will not hold him to impossible standards, while there are men who have held his position and done far more damage and are guilty of far greater crimes, and yet are not criticized as heavily or even held accountable.

There are senators and congressmen who have outright said some of the most despicable, ignorant, hateful, and downright anti-intellectual shyt in the name of this country and yet people wanted to tar and feather this brother because he sat in the church of a man who more or less said that Americas actions were coming back to haunt them. That alone should give you pause for thought every time Barrack Obama is criticized for not making it rain in a drought or for my steak being well done when it clearly says I ordered it medium.

And regarding the topic of this thread...a lot of you who defend Obama at every turn are failing to grasp that the reality of what a President should and should not have total knowledge of is not the point here. Rather the point is that a narrative is being created (and widely accepted based on his low approval numbers) of Obama being out of touch and clueless about what goes on in his own administration.
The facts and logic don't come into play in a situation like this because if the accepted wisdom becomes that President Obama is a president "in name only" who is not interested in the big important stuff then that will become what he is known for historically.
Its about public perception and the public perception of Obama right now is not a good one.

Okay if he wants to use the Congress won't act time and time again as an excuse, why is his executive order still low as hell and he cannot do executive actions in the meantime?


There was and still is a petition weeks ago asking him to raise the living wage for certain federal workers because he has the power to actually do that unlike the regular minimum wage law.

But its like he overthinks everything too much for no reason at all. I have never witnessed something like this.

If you are being blocked in the legislature then just do executive orders in the meantime that you think people would like and give you more public approval.
