What's up with movies being 2hr 30+ now?

Comedies are starting to be well over 2 hours, which is surprising and sometimes some of them do overstay their welcome, but most action-heavy movies being 2+ hours has almost always been the case and is nothing to bytch about.

You fukking simpleton. I mentioned X-men being a good example. The Raid 2 didn't need to be 2hr and 30 mins. Trying to force a lame ass story instead of just going from fight scene to fight scene. The first one had a simple plot and got to the point.

at anyone defending these drawn out movies. Transformers 2? The fukk did i need to see Shia's parents tripping on weed?
Transformers 3? that movie didnt' start till like 90 mins in. AND Michael Bay recycled footage.
He recycled footage and the movie was still overly long?

If movies are good and worth 2 hrs by all means do it. BUT EVERY movie now is 2 hrs? fukking Pain and Gain was 2 hours.

I got no problem with long movies but I do see the Op's point. Some movies I want to be 2 +(Xmen Days) and others need a trim(Transformers)

I'm already feeling some type of way about the potential of TNMT being damn near 3 hours long.
