the last few years I noticed a pattern of people talking negative about Harriet Tubman and some even denying she existed :what:
and honestly I'm kinda dumbfounded as it makes no sense

idk, I think it started with yt conservatives being pissed about Andrew Jackson being replaced by her
then black conservatives and grifters followed suit like Kanye West with character assassination
then social media conspiracist with 'there's no record of her ever existing'

now I am seeing middle aged brehs saying 'she wasn't sh!t, she was a union spy' :snoop:

The internet done rotted people's brains, breh. Alot of that shyt happens on here. But this just the tip of the iceberg. Wait til you see what bullshyt is going to be spread in the next few years. Anti-intellectualism is in full effect and sadly Black people are one of it's most prominent prey.

I said years ago on here that if Harriet were alive today, the same people that went hard over that movie would be calling her a "fleer" and all type of shyt. There are Black Canadians today cause of what she did. Same goes for Muhammed Ali, he would've been a "Pannie"

Dumbasses will say anything to trend on social media.

I personally am more worried about the romanticising of the Black community under segregation, despite me being pro Black economic independence and not looking for integration as any magical solution.

I think much of it comes down to self hatred.

Really no other explanation that passes muster.

No other group of people on the planet would romanticize the hellish past struggles that our ancestors went through.
