What's the verdict on The Dark Knight Rises? (No spoilers)

My coworker said "Avengers was better."

way better than the avengers. it's a flip of a coin for me to say if it's better than TDK. there's parts of the TDK that easily superior, most specifically whut ledger did as the joker, but RISES overall just put damn near EVERYTHING literally at stake with the 3rd act just much more superior than the 3rd act in TDK (which was the weakest part of the film for most people).

but, surprisingly, to me at least, it's almost as comic-book like in comparison to the avengers and not OVERLY grounded to reality like the previous ones. in fact, this is whut i WANTED the avengers to be like to be perfectly honest.

WB having all the DC rights makes it SO MUCH EASIER for them to make Boss DC Comics movies. They gotta get shyt right for Justice League, but hopefully they don't rush it.
