Em didn't need to save face..We never got over BIG & Pac dyin over some.petty be that coulda been avoided and kept on wax...that song is pretty eerie seeing what happened to Proof right after that and Em.feeling like what if...what if....

DMX is really close with Latin Kings leader Kato (who was murdered back in 2003, that's who the Ayo'Kato song is about) and when they were at the airport they saw Ja Rule, and they was gonna do him dirty for X, but DMX told them to chill it wasn't that serious so they backed off.

DMX is my Favorite rapper but I got love for Rule as well (I never switched on Ja like everyone else). This beef was straight up retarded. Seems to me like every time Rule made a hit song dudes would be in X's ear like "Yo X you see? That nikka using your style again. "

Eventually X started actually believing the shyt, plus he ain't have the best judgement at the time because he was smoking. Hella sad two dudes who were like brothers started beefing over some bullshyt

Apart from both X and Rule having deep voices their styles are way different. Ja was making shyt in the early 2000's that made people feel happy, shyt you could play at a party or get some p*ssy to. X on the other hand was making dark, painful shyt that reflected his tortured soul. Yet nikkas was there insisting that Rule was trying to sound like him, shyt never made any sense

I'm just happy my nikkas are cool again, we could have gotten some bomb ass collabs from them if they weren't beefing in the primes of their careers
