DMX is really close with Latin Kings leader Kato (who was murdered back in 2003, that's who the Ayo'Kato song is about) and when they were at the airport they saw Ja Rule, and they was gonna do him dirty for X, but DMX told them to chill it wasn't that serious so they backed off.

That's pretty much the account DMX gave about the alleged situation. He had 50 or so latin king members with him, so he says, asking for the greenlight on Ja, but DMX called it off. I suppose it could be a true story, because of DMX relationship with Kato who was a member of the latin kings out in chicago; although, DMX is known crackhead who has more bark than bite, so I take everything he said during that time period with a grain of salt.
