My friends were under that impression that he had something to do with it.
They never could elaborate on why they thought that but it's interesting you'd say that now.

Dre was probably one of the shadiest people to ever bless the mic. If it wasn't a disgruntled promoter, it was somebody else he either robbed or pulled some other shady stunt on.
I was living in vallejo when this happened and still remember getting the call about it from my roommate at around 6:30 in the morning on november 1st as I was on my way to work. There were always lots of rumors about mac dre getting killed or od'ing, but she said that this time it was real. A couple hours later I knew she wasn't lying when I heard chuy announce it on kmel
