It's pretty obvious Hbo feels like Kkk beating Ward is a lock because of the same reason Pascal can't win against him..size, chin and power. Difference is Wards skill and hopefully he can pull out the win with it but it will be tough.

Surprised a lot of ya'll are riding with Kovalev though. Purse bid is a excuse they are ducking Stevenson simple as that

Interesting results when you type "KKKovalev" into the twitter search. You'd think a moniker like that would be considered derisive, but almost every tweet is a bunch of cacs celebrating his win and career, basically affirming that KKKov/KKKovalev is an endearing nickname for them .

Yep, not a great card overall. Mayfield wasnt in shape and the Kovalev-Pascal rematch really wasn't necessary because Pascal just isn't even in the same class of fighter and the odds of him changing the outcome was too small.

Only fights that really matter involve Kovalev, Stevenson, and Ward. They are the cream of the division and everyone else is clearly below and doesn't have much of a chance. Beterbiev has a chance to jump in there once he is active again and some more experience.

The commentary was the most entertaining part. Bernard wasn't paying attention half the time and spent the other half giving a beard breakdown.

Pascal has heart like always but the fight should of been called way earlier..

I actually agree. I think Beterbiev has the size and power to challenge, he just needs the experience. I think a future Beterbiev is a bigger threat than Stevenson. For being a better athlete, I think Kovalev is a far better boxer than Stevenson, we know Stevenson's chin is shaky, and I think Stevenson is a fairly one handed fighter. I just am not a fan of Stevenson overall. He had one good fight vs. Dawson, who was just taken apart by Ward...other than that a whole lot of nothing.

That said we will see how Ward adjusts to 175. He is the most talented overall of the bunch. I will be interested to see how his power carries. I have a feeling Kovalev and Beterbiev will be on a completely different level with their power and it will be up to Ward to use his superior boxing skills.
