What's the point of having multiman matches if everybody spend their time laying on the floor?

From WWE’s perspective, I think they look at multi-man matches as a way for guys to take less bumps that night.

So to them having guys resting on the outside helps to avoid unnecessary injuries that night. Reminds me of how NJPW rarely does singles matches so guys get to take less bumps.

These matches should be elimination but they clearly want to have only one guy get pinned so that the other participants can say “you didn’t beat me.”

Also while annoying it’s much better than those triangle matches or four corners matches from back in the day where you had to stand on a pro and tag an opponent to get in the match.

If you want a good example of a 6-Man match done right. Watch the 6-Man HIAC match in 2000.
Man I just watched this off your recommendation and this was a perfect 6 man match. Something was going on at all times. Everybody worked with everyone else while still having a main foe. fukkery, carnage and chaos how it's sposed to be :blessed:

By Default, this is how these types of matches are; HIAC, WarGames, Cage Matches.

The problems WWE does, is that they overuse it. These types of Specialty matches should be End Fued, but no, its done regularly to kill the aspect.

Personally I think they should get rid of the Elimination Chamber and HIAC, as both have a boring concept centered on spots. With the Steel Cage you can have the same HIAC spot but not with the concept of leaving the ring to perform it.

The key rule in business is simplification, and WWE under Vince tries to make it complex, all for diminishing value.
