Or maybe I'm thinking outside the box, utilizing a key phrase they were using at the time (bringing legitimacy), and doing something that would not be typical "Cena saves the day" bullshyt.

Having Lesnar on regular TV squashing people left and right and "bringing legitimacy" is the same stupid stuff as the bullshyt that's currently on?
no one is saying you can't "think outside the box" i'm just asking you to explain how cena teaming up with brock makes sense in a story line way? what would be the reasoning behind it?

Probably explain it by saying that the only people that came by to visit him while out of action were laurenitis and Lesnar and he saw things their way. Talk about how the COO of the company didn't care to check on how he's doing, especially with all the charity work and time he put into the WWE. Stuff like that.

Come on bruh... you know what that is... any storyline that's fantasy-booked on the net ends in Cena turning heel... doesn't have to make sense at all. And then, throw in HHH losing? That's two IWC birds killed in one stone.
As for the CM Punk/HHH/Nash storyline... it was established that HHH wasn't the person behind the Nash attack, so there was no reason for Punk and HHH have a beef after that. That's where the whole thing stemmed from.
The Cena/Brock alliance against HHH would make no sense at all, because it would be clear that Brock was the one who fukked him up and HHH had nothin' to do with it. What would Cena's issue with HHH be?
