I'd like to see an adaption of Freddie blassie"s book, it's one of the more fascinating books out there as he wrestled in the golden era, was one of the first gaijin stars of Japan, and than his twilight years was as a manager in the 80s rock n wrestling boom
I wonder how early you start the action. You could start from the early 90s when they were in tag teams or simply start during the build up to WrestleMania 12 leading to the Screwjob. Then end the film with them embracing on RAW in 2010.
A The Place Beyond The Pines -like three in one (or even mini series) for the Von Erichs or a Michaels/Bret dual biopic seem like obvious choices. Something like a Ryan Coogler directed JYD film, given all the shyt he must have had to go through just to get where he got back then, would interest me.
A Taker biopic would be . There's legit no story there worthy of a full-length film.
