Getting the Macbook Pro M4-Pro Space Black with 48GB of memory on New Year’s Day.
My boy works at apple so he gets a 25% discount on all products and I have a $500 apple gift card from my sisters for my bday. That $3K laptop will drop to about $1.8K when it’s all said and done. I’ll prob get some nice accessories with the cost savings (external hard drive, external monitors, apple tv etc)
At work, we have this internal rewards program where you can get points for doing good work and being recognized. You can trade in your points for different prizes. I just need 500 more points (which is like completing one good project) and I can get the Sony XM5. Was debating doing the Airpods Max but I already have the Airpods Pro 2
Might also get the iPad Pro for my birthday next year but I’m not sure if the iPad is really all that useful tbh. Seems like something I’d force myself to use rather than it being intuitively useful.
Last thing will be to get a Thinkpad laptop for my 2nd personal use, particularly for excel. But that won’t be until Apr/May or next year
