Im pretty sure when i first got my ps2, I had no memory card, I bought it used, and rented two games ZOE and Mech Assault.
me and my homie stayed up 24 hours and played those two games back to back.
pretty sure i did the same thing when i got DMC and FFX like a week or so later.

Memorial Day weekend two years ago we had 4 days off so she suggested we fire up her PS2 and play through it. We ain't go outside, we ordered in, we dead ass took shifts. She would play it during the night while I slept and I played during the day while she did.
We got to Seymour Flux on Mount Gagazet and he kept handing us the beats. So we never finished....

I loved that fukking game.
The longest for me would be whatever the MGS was for PS2. My boy borrowed it from one of the dude's living in his dorm over holiday break. We stayed up for like a day and a half straight. We was fukking zombies by the end of it. Then there was that part where it tells you've been playing the game too long and it's dangerous or you need a life or something. Our minds was blown like "they're actually tracking that" until we realized later everybody got that.
I got up to the final boss of Metal Gear Solid 4 in a day and a half from the day it was released. Played the game so much I felt sick and stopped for a day then on the next day I beat the game. An 18 hour game in a day and a half. It was too much for me.
Only worse marathon was when I watched like 405 episodes of One Piece in a little over a week.

all ima say is my guild had multiple high warlords and we were #1 progress on server in Naxx 40 (7 bosses down, #60 world wide..but the difference with our guild was we had the same people doing Naxx also doing the high warlord grind)
I remember my guild had the bright idea to do a whole bunch of old ass raids right before we did a run of Icecrown Citadel. This was when it first dropped and he only boss you could beat at the time was Deathbringer Saurfang.

I absolutely hated life that day, but they did it starting from easiest to hardest so I can get accustomed to healing. (I just respecced my pally)
