Pretty much this.

The problem tho is that I start to sacrifice things I want just so I can stack more. Like I won't go on a trip or something cause it's gonna hurt the amount I could otherwise put away.

Same. It's kind of a problem cause my girl and I make good money together, and she's expecting to live this semi-extravagant lifestyle but I'm still living like I was before the money was good. She's a trooper tho she follows my lead.

i didnt realize people would rather finance a car before they finance a roof over they head, its crazy

if i can get a good interest rate with my job i might try get get a loft but i dont want a house too much maintenance

Yeah, up until last year I had the same car that I had as a senior in high school (I'm almost 28). It was paid off and I didn't want a car note. I had to get another car last year because I did something stupid but I bought it cash.

I was going back and forth between a house and a condo. It was tough because condos have rules about renting your place and I knew I wouldn't be in that city too much longer (so I simply didn't buy).

yea credit union the way to go, from what i been told

my coworker moved to detroit from washington last year

said he put his bread in a credit union...told them he wanted a car

and they gave him 10k

i dont know his specifics or what he did tho, i'll talk to him
