Probably would go with Thomas Jane's version of the Punisher. Made the man kill his own wife lol

Gladiator, Kill Bill and John Wick for sure. Training Day as well, but most of the movie the main character was getting dunked on, not so much that they were planning up.

Both those scenes from Training Day and Gladiator though were when the person they left for dead shows up is staring at them in the face with the upper hand.

Denzel/Joaquin along with Hawke/Crowe both played those scenes so well. Two stupefied looks and two other people with zero tolerance for them at that point. Trying to think of another movie with a scene like that but none come to mind.
