I always thought the opening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was dark as fukk - considering where the movies start:



Then after this they talk about how Voldemort and his goons have been bodying muggles, and Hermione wipes her parents memories of her.

Shyt had me :picard: and kids in the theatre :merchant:

I love how each of the WB intro openings get darker as the series progresses.

I think so? Not 100% sure, but that's the scene I'm referencing

I literally cannot watch that movie because of that scene. :::shudder:::: I don't care about Norton's character's redemption arc, that was just unforgivable.

Besides American History X, I thought the opening to Scream was pretty gruesome and shocking because at the time Drew Barrymore was billed as the star so no one saw that coming
