Whats The Coli's Expectations for the Detroit Pistons this season?

They are a top 4 lock imo. Not completely sold on NY. Toronto unless JV becomes dominant is taking a step back

If Lowry/DeRozan play as bad as they did last season then it's a real possibility

I still think Toronto is still the 2nd best team in the East. JV will probably have a breakout year (unless injuries) and while Sully isn't Bismack, he'll provide in other areas Biyombo didn't.

And you know nobody tryna take Monroe. They were shopping him last season and I heard nobody wanted that contract. 51 milly over 3 years

Sully when motivated could be a good asset for them off the bench though. They'll miss Biyombos defense and rebounding but Sully can score and grab boards too.

He can play both 4 & 5 (which mean they can pair him with JV, unlike Biyombo), he's a much better offensive player (not hard) witha much better touch/shot and a great passer for his position, and a good rebounder (altho not as good as BB). Defensively is where the big disparity is. Sully can use his size/strength (n/h) in the post but lacks in other areas (rim protection..etc)

I hope they have a better season because Stan Van Gundy is a good coach and watching him during the playoffs was fun.

Drummond needs to take extra step. He's too big and athletic to be a bad rim protector. He also needs to improve his low post moves and passing. Don't get me started on his free throw

I believe in Stanley and KCP though. They got a lot of heart. The team got pieces, but until they improve their overall defense, I don't see them getting much better than last year.
