What’s the biggest salary increase via promotion/new job you’ve ever gotten or heard someone get?

Always lie about how much you make. Add about 10k to your salary or more when switching jobs and never take the max position unless its manager or lead or director.

fukk yeah and if your resume got that work the company will pay. I took a regular analyst role before paying damn near 90k and I was in there making more than seniors. The people don't know how to play the game and fukk these jobs get that bread because if you have the credentials they cant stop you.

How did you get started in the Business Analyst field?

there's no straight forward path to it...BA's have a variety of different backgrounds..my path was i had a strong skillset in data analysis/reporting, training, testing, and implementation thanks to the previous company..and the listing was somewhat similar to what i was doing and what they were looking for...so i sold the shyt out of my experience...and bam i was hired...did it for almost 5 years

A friend of mine worked at a nonprofit for 6 years, barely made $40k. One year they got some certification change and her salary went up to $180k, so that’s the biggest I’ve seen confirmed.

Got another role in 21 make 30 grand more. I was hustling man

I made a thread a couple weeks ago during my interview visit. Got the job a few days later....

The irony that I literally just got in the crib from a mother 4 round interview day at a different company and this got bumped.

I think it went well but I doubt it will pay enough.
