whats the best tv i can get for 1k

I just copped the LG UP7000 55' for $480 from Best Buy. Sound Bar for $180 from LG.
The 65' might have been better for my living room but the 55' is just right. When I move spots I'll put the 55' in my room and get a bigger TV for the living room.
I'm not up to speed on OLED vs UHD but for someone that really only watches sports, Netflix and some HBO here and there, it gets the job done.

Those TVs are like 1500, not 1k

It's a 4k 120z TV, best thing you can buy that's not QLED or OLED
TCL is some garbage, they get thermal cracking and the build quality is trash

If you can still find a CX at 55 it should be under $1000. Sam's or Costco would be best bets. Probably a display at this point.

No it would not. Problem is good luck finding that TV. The CX was replaced with the C1 so in many places it's sold out.
