been using logic for 2 years, ableton for about 6 months. in the past ive used fruity loops, reason and cubase. fruity loops is the easiest. soon as i get my pc fixed, im switchin back to fruity loops, using logic ONLY for recording, and leaving ableton in the bushes. but i got 10 years experience with fruity loops so :manny:

If you are 100% virgin beat maker, then there is no easiest DAW....

FL Studio is the best way to go (in my opinion)....Because...
1) You can get a good working pirated version online...
2) There is a lot of online resources and tutorials online, so your learning curve wont be as frustrating...

Once you learn FL Stutio, everything else may seem harder for you....Just the same if you first learn Reason or Ableton or etc

I made these with fruity loops :yeshrug: Good enough to get me on the first page of google search for the search term crackface.

:leon: Damn breh, all them joints are hot! You and Curren$y would be made for each other. I could here Ross flowing over a couple of them joints and that first one got Fab written all over it. That second one sounds like something Nas or some old-school NY rapper would spit over, i.e. Raekwon. That SpaceFunk joint is kinda :ehh:, that joint is ill, reminds of something Snoop and Dr. Dre (circa 1995-96) would flow over. And Thousand sound like it coulda been a commercial hit circa 2004-2006. Not bad breh, not bad.

Same could be said for Acid

Reason was the easiest for me....it's more about the individual and how one learns shyt than the DAW itself. I couldn't figure out FL for shyt, but Reason and Maschine came easy.:manny:

i'd recommend FL studio, but there is a problem with fl studio. Its probably something a hip-hop producer wont worry about.

It may not be much of a big deal these days because powerful Computers are cheap, but if you have a project that is resource heavy, (ochestration or jazz peice) that uses high quality VSTs/VSTi. FL studio doesnt have a "freeze" function while all the other big name DAWs do.

Freezing will instantly turn a track into a wave file and turn off the VST processes that burden the computer. Its very helpful if you have a sub 8gig/2.5 quad computer.

I dont understand why imageline doesn't impliment this feature.
