Best movie...shiieeeeeet...I don't even know tbh. Especially considering like almost my entire top 5 movies of all time, I didn't get to see in theaters. But I'll list my top 5 cinematic movie experiences, with brief context next to them. Some of my top movie theater experiences would be:
Who Framed Roger Rabbit - 1st time I'd ever seen a movie both in this type of real-life/toons merge, which was just surreal and 1st time I'd ever been to the movies past midnight. I was like only 6 or 7 at the time and my uncle took my cousin and I. Think he said it was the only non-sold out showing at the time.
Matrix - Just utterly mind-blowing experience. Whole theater and my group of friends were just geeked the fukk out.
Avengers Infinity War - That chilling feeling at the end that captured the entire, completely full theater...don't think I'd ever felt that in a theater before.
Avengers End Game - Never felt that level of fan service before along with the crowd participation. shyt was just unreal.
Fivel Goes West - I barely even remember much of the movie, but it was the first time as a kid being in a movie theater all by myself. I think I was like 6. Moms was in another, more adult oriented movie across the way with a friend. Crazy time cuz I'd never let my now 7 year old daughter in a movie by herself. Different times tho.
Having grown up in 90’s Akute, Nigeria, I only saw great movies at home. For best/most memorable cinema experience, it would be while watching “About Last Night”. I don’t think I ever had a literal gasping for air, laugh out loud moment with tears pouring from my face in a public setting until I saw this movie.
The one with Kevin Hart? Which scene brought you to that, if you don't mind me asking?
