Civ V. Watched a stream and it was the epitome of , my friend said it's something you have to play to understand and I respect his taste in games. I saw it on a Steam sale , said 'fukk it' and the rest was . shyt had me up the whole night building my nation, politicing & fighting invaders try to get my riches. This art ain't imitating real life.

Mechanicall, they're alright.

Difference between Alpha Centauri and all other 4x games is the incredible writing that went into it as well. Mindworms, Factions and leader personalities, tech just GOAT stuff

red dead redemption. don't know how i never heard of it until the day it dropped, was watching g4 or something and they was hyping it., said and went to go cop.



honorable mention

grandma bought me this off the $10 shelf at toys r us, so i just knew the shyt was trash... to my surprise it wasn't. developed by dma design (Rockstar north) shyt is basically gta with aliens.

my shyt freezes at a certain point and i never got to beat it.

Was hanging at my cousin's crib and his parents bought him this game but he never played it cuz he saw that it had Disney characters and was automatically

At the time I had no idea what it was about but it was raining outside and there wasn't anything else to do so I said fuk it it let's check it out.... One of the best decisions I've made. Went out and bought a copy the next day

Dragon Age comes to mind. I was in a RPG mood and saw it on the shelf w/o really knowing what it was. One of the best gaming decisions of my life.

I want both of these. They're both on sale now too. Should I cop?

I wanted to play KH BADLY when I seen it was an RPG game with Disney characters in it made by Square. I vaguely remember how I found out about it but I remember wanting to go upstairs to my friend crib cuz he had a PS2 with a copy of the game and I'd want him to not beat it unless I was around.
