I just make my own breh. Get you some light oil (grapseed or jojoba), add a bit of shea butter, castor, coconut oil and an essential oil. Mix it up and hit the beard with a leave in then oil up

Is this post fake news or does rice water really work for beards? I know it works for hair.

Also to answer OP Shea moisture beard oil >>>>

I always heard about it but I wasn't convinced by it. Wasn't sure it would work. But I was tired of my beard being patch.

I've been using rice water for the last two weeks. and I've noticed a difference.

Honestly no beard oil will help with growth, regardless of what they advertise. For growth honestly, drink more water, get more sleep.

This. Beard oil isn't for growth, it's used to moisturize your beard and the skin underneath.

Side note, my beard is getting long and I am thinking of switching from beard balm to beard butter :jbhmm:

Do you know the difference between all three products? Regardless of whether you go with a balm or butter, beard oil should always be used first. Like you said beard oil moistures the skin underneath the beard and the beard.

Beard butter locks in the moisture in the beard after you placed the oil. Beard butter also has minimum hold for the flyaway hairs.
Beard balm locks in moisture and is the best for molding the shape of the beard because it has beeswax which neither oil or butter has. But because of the beeswax it can cause a lot of build up in the beard.
I have a beard very similar to Omari Hardwick. So personally I use oil and butter combo, because my beard isn’t long enough to need a balm to mold it in shape.

You make it yourself young blood, just put some in your beard before you go to sleep and wash it out in the morning.:myman:
