Nah Boosie and Webbie came along just right in an era where hip hop was becoming hoe shyt. I ain't saying Boosie got Bars but him and Webbie were Griselda Gang before Griselda gang IMO. They brought realism back to mainstream Hip Hop. When Jeezy and TIP were gangsta Superheroes. Boosie and Webbie took it back to Scarface era hip hop for me. This is strictly my opinion

I dig that. At one pont hip hop even gangsta rap had gotten fake. Where nikkas is emptying AK's and surviving and selling coke the next day. they toned that shyt down a lot. It was realistic. "Buying dime bags but we couldn't afford the phillies" that's real shyt. all that 17.5 a key, driving ashton martins and shyt became outlandish. they brought it back down to the real.
