Bunch of cacs are moving into my area. They losing homes in livingston, west orange etc so now they coming down here ...to rent

yes these cacs are renting from blacks that now live in PA. My parents are thinking about moving to PA and either rent or sell our home.

Besides my hood has been pretty quiet.

I just had a visit from my homeboy from SC/NC and saw some of the stuff he was wearing and thought about what's popular here in the DMV. I was just curious to know what some of ya'll are wearing?

What is the clothing item that would make you know someone is from your hood/city/state if you saw them wearing it randomly?


In the DMV it's usually jeans, tee, and a fresh pair of New Balances (the thugs wear them here, not old ladies going running lol)

lately though, I've been seeing cargo pants (not jeans) and Polo/Lacoste making a huge comeback here...

But here, it's all about your kick game...Jordans, Foams, KDs, New Balances and Timbs and Nike ACGs in the winter....



So, I'm curious, what's everybody wearing in your hood? If you were in a random room with 100 people from all over, how would you know a cat/lady from your area simply by the clothes?

Tru Religion is still popular around here along with Robin Jeans, Levis are still poppin. You see a lot of the street brands ie. Diamond Supply, Obey, etc.Lots of cats into the fly versace tee's or the all over print themed tees, clothing with leather accents is getting big too. As far as shoes it's still all about J's, Foams, Nikes, I wont front you still see Forces, Addidas get play out here too as well as the high fashion joints, Louie V's, Gucci, Pradas, Versace, etc ( I see dope boys hopping fly in the high fashion a lot). When it's cold out we rock Timbs, Polos, Guccis, etc. It really just depends on the person it's boys walking round looking like Currensy, it's boys walking round dressed like Rocko, Rich Homie Quan, and all them fly d-boy cats, and it's boys walking round still thinking it's 2003 with big baggy clothes and whatnot it just depends on the setting and where you be at. Hell I saw a group of ASAP Rocky looking dudes in the mall last weekend with the long skirt shirts and leather pants you see a lil of everything in the H.

Dumb ass, wantin this "city" to be hard ass nikkaz are what's poppin in this "hood" called decatur, illinois.

nikkaz swear up and down it is rough here. They want a rep of cities of similar sizes, smaller, or slightly bigger(flint, east stl, youngstown, gary).

Im glad they not succeeding. So far in 2013, there have been 4 murders. One of them being a 15 yr old girl.

Really nothing special about Robins other than the price tag being high. You know how the hood go," if it's expensive it's fly". It's lesser known brands even some foreign companies who have way better quality denim but no one has mentioned them in a rap song yet .

Houston is a big diverse city so yea you gone see some of everything but I think the H sets ourselves apart when it comes to the car culture down here. You would be hard pressed to find a slab outside of south Texas

I mean I won't lie, I have a LOT of old Rocawear stuff from 01-04 that I don't wear or use as housewear (sweats and hoodies)

I still wear some of the stuff I actually like (very non-obvious branded Giabaud jeans which are all grey, get crazy compliments. Wild looks when I tell them what brand they are. They look like slacks lol)
Also have a Akademiks hoodie that I wear all the time, all black with a tad bit of orange. Looks good without the heavy branding.
