I pretty much have this dilema right now. I got offered a job that pays 2x what i make now. But im pretty happy what i do, and I may not be as happy at the other job.

Maaan, i thought it was about money at first. I used to be like "I'll take just about any job to get paid", but after working for about a year, with the last 6 months doin some bullshyt, I dont think the money is as big a factor as I used to think. I really like challenges and figuring out problems and using my skills to solve them, while developing my skills. Right now, im not doing any sort of that. I got a raise, but that shyt didn't make me feel better at all, though it was much helpful.

Now, money is still a big factor, cause i still choose to do consulting over game development even though I'd prefer game dev. But i'll be damned if I work 80 hour weeks and not get compensated. fukk that.
